GitOps is not limited to Kubernetes - it is a paradigm for managing everything as code. In this dialogue, we will find out how GitOps practices with Flux or ArgoCD can be extended to the Ubertu system itself. From OS configuration and security patch to Snap, APT package and management of service, GIT becomes a single source of truth. We will showcase how to control the Ubuntu infrastructure on the cloud, on-dim or edge, and show how automatic rollouts, drift detection and rollback create a self-healing, auto-environment. The attendees will leave the app and infrastructure management under the GitOps with a clear understanding of the way to unite, bridging the gap between the cloud native workflow and the wide Ubuntu ecosystem.
