Description

This workshop provides a practical introduction to multitasking and inter-task communication in a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). Participants will understand the concept of threads or tasks, create and manage multiple threads with varying priorities. Through hands-on exercises, attendees will interface a digital temperature or humidity sensor using a simple communication bus or an MCU’s internal temperature sensor, acquire sensor data, and organize it into a structured format. The workshop will also demonstrate how to transmit this data over UART to a PC terminal, enabling participants to build the foundation for responsive, concurrent, and sensor-driven embedded applications.
