The 2023 Ubuntu Summit will be held at the Radisson Blu Latvija Hotel. There are multiple Radisson hotels near the centre of Riga, so please ensure that you travel to the Radisson hotel located here:
Food and drinks
If you are staying at the hotel where the summit is being held, breakfast will be available from 6:30–10:30 AM in the common breakfast area. Lunch, snacks, coffee, tea, and water will be provided free of charge for all conference participants. We have done our best to ensure that all food allergies are taken into consideration. If you have severe allergies that we need to know about, you can indicate it in the registration form.
If you are planning a dinner or group event outside of the summit location, please be considerate about the potential implicitly exclusionary nature of alcohol.

Masks and Vaccination
In May 2023, the World Health Organization declared that COVID-19 is no longer an international health emergency. There is no need to present a certification of vaccination, recovery from COVID-19, or negative test results. It is not mandatory to use face masks or respirators, however, medical institutions and other service providers reserve the right to determine if there is a need to use face mask or respirators when assessing risks.
We have rapid tests available to distribute in case they are needed. If you would like to test more regularly, please additionally bring your own. If you are displaying symptoms but are testing negative, please wear a mask as a courtesy towards others.
If you test positive before the event, you should not travel or attend the 2023 Ubuntu Summit. If you test negative before travelling you are welcome to join us in Riga.
If you test positive for COVID-19 while in Riga, you must self isolate in the hotel you are staying in. Please check Latvia's COVID-19 isolation guidelines for accurate and up to date information.
If you are staying in the event hotel, please check with the receptionists using the phone in your room and/or email email@example.com.
