An Ubuntu conference, often abbreviated to "UbuCon," is a volunteer run, regional event that enables the global community of Ubuntu teams, users, and organizations to come together to work on current challenges, share knowledge, and network within the Ubuntu project. Ubuntu conferences occur across the globe; recent and upcoming events include UbuCon Asia 2023, UbuCon Korea, Ubuntu Meetup Africa 2023, UbuCon Latin America, the Ubuntu Summit, and UbuCon @ SCaLE 21x. This year presents an exciting opportunity as it is the Ubuntu project’s 20th anniversary, and it is the first time that we are organizing a standalone North American Ubuntu conference. You are invited to join us in-person for UbuCon North America to engage with the Ubuntu community and contribute to the continued development of Ubuntu and associated initiatives.

UbuCon North America will showcase the versatility of Ubuntu in desktop, server, cloud, mobile, internet of things and more, while also providing an opportunity for both veteran and novice users to contribute to the discussion. The conference also offers the opportunity to introduce industry professionals and hobbyists to the world of Ubuntu, latest developments in the ecosystem, and opportunities for contribution. Ubuntu conferences bring together an intelligent, diverse group of individuals that are dedicated to the furthering development and adoption of free and open source software.
