Description
In this workshop the hosts will demonstrate how to make a snap package of desktop applications (targeting both GTK/GNOME and Qt/KDE applications), and will then help the participants snap their favourite desktop applications.
The expected outcome is happy snapcrafters, and more interesting apps in the snap store.
Session author bios
Olivier is a long-time free software enthusiast, Ubuntu user and developer, and has the privilege of being part of the Ubuntu Desktop team at Canonical.
Scarlett is a Linux enthusiast since 1998. KDE, KDE Neon, Kubuntu, and Debian Developer. She has been contributing since 2013 and is a packaging mad woman. Her main focus has been on Debian (Ubuntu) packaging, but she has developed a love for all things snappy. Her goal is to bring all of KDE to the Snappy world!
