Covid Information
Masks and Vaccination
As of 9th April 2022, the protective measures regarding the conditions of entry into the Czech Republic in relation to the epidemic of COVID-19 have been suspended. Entry into the Czech Republic is no longer subject to any special epidemiological conditions to prevent the spread of the disease. The entry-ban for foreigners from third-countries and the obligation to prove infection-free status have been lifted.
Despite loosening restrictions by government authorities, the pandemic is still ongoing. As such, we prefer—but do not require—that participants are fully vaccinated and wear masks during the event. If you are travelling via aeroplane, please check with your airline for masking requirements.
Please respect each others’ choices on wearing a mask.
Testing
We have rapid tests available to distribute in case they are needed. If you would like to test more regularly, please additionally bring your own. If you are displaying symptoms but are testing negative, please wear a mask as a courtesy towards others.
Testing Positive
If you test positive before the event, you should not travel or attend the Ubuntu Summit. If you test negative before travelling you are welcome to join us.
If you test positive for COVID-19 while in Prague you need to self isolate for 5 days in the hotel you are staying in. If you are staying in the event hotel, they will be able to make arrangements for room service and other needs you may have. Please check with the receptionists using the phone in your room and/or email summit@ubuntu.com.
