In this workshop you will add a sensor to a raspberry pi, package a snap to read and display the sensor data and run this on an Ubuntu Core system.

I'm a Ubuntu community member since 2005 (well, longer but there was no membership process before ;) ), was among the first three MOTU and work for Canonical as a Field Engineer in the devices team today. I used to run the Edubuntu distro, led the LTSP (Linux Terminal-server) project for a few years and worked on the plumbing layer of the Ubuntu Phone as well as on the first few versions of Ubuntu Core.
