Description
Snapcrafters is a group of volunteers who maintain snap packages for third-party software. We publish more than 70 snaps used by 1.5 million weekly active devices across 50+ distributions. Our goal is to be a trusted and reliable source for high-quality snaps. To maintain these snaps, we have set up a robust CI using snapcraft's remote-build, yq and various other github's workflow methods. We have also incorporated 2 content snaps, for ffmpeg and webkitgtk, which can be used by other snaps to easily to add ffmpeg or webkitgtk support. These special kinds of snaps, also uses special kind of CIs. We have also set up a dashboard kind of mechanism, hosted in snapcrafters.org
The booth will have content for both users of snaps and for creators of snaps. Aside from our own snaps, we will also showcase some of our tools such as ghvmctl, which allows us to test GUI snaps inside a github runner, and tokenator, which is used to maintain the credentials for these repos.

Soumyadeep Ghosh is a member of the Snapcrafters team. He created and maintains a number of content snaps and helped create the CI used by snapcrafters. Outside Snapcrafters, he is also Ubuntu Member and helps out with various other organizations such as the Ubuntu Flutter Community, NickVisionApps, Pacstall, and more.
