Booth requirements

We are excited to introduce booths as a new feature for Ubuntu Summit 2024! Are you a project or community engaging with the open source ecosystem? If so, great! You are the kind of organisation that we want to spotlight at this year's Summit.

We have limited space available for booths, and will not be able to accept everyone who applies for one, so we have created the following set of requirements that you and your organisation must meet to qualify for a booth at this year's Summit:

  • Booth staff are expected to follow the Ubuntu Code of Conduct v2.0 at all times.
  • Booths run for the entire Summit. Your organisation is expected to staff and be present at the booth for the entire event.
  • Booths should always have at least one individual staffing the table at any given time during exhibition hours.

  • Booth staff are responsible for the cleanup and removal of any personal booth materials or items at the conclusion of the Summit.
  • Booth staff should inform the organising committee of any special accommodations required during the Call for Booths process.
  • Booths can not be used as a point of sales location for products or services.

  • Booths should be inviting and welcoming. Your booth should have activities for attendees to engage with.

If your request for a booth is accepted for Ubuntu Summit 2024, the organising committee will contact you with further details. Should you have any questions about these requirements before or after submitting a request for a booth, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Ubuntu Summit 2024 organising committee at summit@ubuntu.com.
