Hackerspace is a unique, limited event at the Ubuntu Summit that brings together like-minded people who share common interests and knowledge. The hackerspace event starts immediately after day 2 of the Ubuntu Summit, it has limited capacity of 100 attendees, and lasts for 2 hours. Food and beverages are provided at the venue for all attendees. The agenda of each room is decided by each group who owns a hackerspace room. There is no forced event-style schedule. Instead an agenda and some goals can be sufficient for a group to hack at their projects, get things done, build some roadmap and improve the way the collaborate and contribute to open source projects.
